Can I change or amend my order once it has been placed?

Before your purchases have been prepared for dispatch we can cancel an item or edit your billing and shipping details.However, we are unable to combine orders or add pieces to an existing order once it has been placed.

Do I need to set up an account?

When you register online, you will be asked to create an account and choose a password. We ask that you do this so that we can provide you with a higher level of service and security for this and future transactions. After registering, you will receive a confirmation e-mail of your registration.

How do I register for a class?

To find a class, click "Cooking Classes" in the top menu. On the Cooking Class page, click the title of the class you want to attend. Enter the number of seats you wish to reserve and click the "Add to Cart" button. Follow the instructions through the shopping cart. Payment in full is required at the time of registration.

How long are classes?

Masterclasses are 4 hours and other classes are 2 hours in length.

Should I register for a class that is full?

If a class is full, please send us an email or call us for us to take your contact info. You do not need to submit any payment information until a spot becomes available. If an opening becomes available, you will be contacted by phone or e-mail.

What are the children and teen classes that are offered?

Junior Chef Classes are designed for children & teens between the ages of 8 to 16. Mommy (Daddy) & Me classes are designed for parents and their children. These classes allow children as of 3 years old.

What is the difference between a masterclass and a normal class?
-
Masterclasses are provided to give you in-depth knowledge on a particular subject. They are available to professionals and non-professionals and are 4 hours in length. Normal classes are 2 hours in length, at the end of which you be given a tasting portion, unless otherwise specified, of all the dishes prepared during the class. You will also be offered a beverage, as well as recipes for all the menu items.

What is the format of your classes?

Classes can be either hands-on or demonstration.
Hands-on Classes are full participation classes, where students take part in practicing techniques and preparing the menu items. Hands-on classes are limited to 12 people.
Demonstration Classes are designed as an observation class, participants watch while the chef explains and shows recipe preparation and cooking techniques. Demonstration classes are limited to 24 people.

What is your cancellation policy for classes?

Maroun Chedid Cooking Academy Cancellation Policy:
The Maroun Chedid Cooking Academy will refund your payment in full for cancellations made up to 72 hours before the class. No refunds or credits will be given for cancellation made after that deadline. Cancellations or changes can be made by either calling us on 01-323 084/5 or emailing us on academy@marounchedid.com
The Maroun Chedid Cooking Academy reserves the right to cancel a class. When a class is cancelled, we will contact you by email or telephone and issue a full refund.

Attendance is a must. Classes that are missed cannot be refunded or re-taken at another time.
